Obiettivi formativi
L'Insegnamento si propone di approfondire le patologie dell'orecchio correlate al tracciato audiometrico con una particolare attenzione ai pazienti con impianto cocleare nella pratica quotidiana del Tecnico Audioprotesista
Viene trattato anche il tema della presa in carico logopedica del paziente sordo in età evolutiva e geriatrica.
The course aims to deepen the pathologies of the ear related to the audiometric tracing with particular attention to patients with implantable prosthesis in the daily practice of the hearing care technician.
The topic of speech therapy management of the deaf patient in the developmental and geriatric age is also dealt with.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Gli studenti, al termine dell'Insegnamento , devono dimostrare di aver raggiunto gli obiettivi formativi previsti per l'insegnamento, indispensabili per un'adeguata ed individualizzata presa in carico professionale del paziente ipoacusico.
In particolare riguardo a:
- conoscenza e comprensione e capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione: lo studente deve acquisire la capacità di riconoscere le patologie del sistema uditivo e in particolar modo nell'ambito degli impianti cocleari.
- autonomia di giudizio: lo studente deve raggiungere conoscenze e competenze nel praticare test diagnostici e riabilitativi rispettando la dignità, la cultura, i valori ed i diritti dei singoli individui. Deve inoltre utilizzare abilità di pensiero critico per erogare interventi efficaci agli utenti nelle diverse fasce di età e nelle diverse patologie. Deve assumersi la responsabilità del proprio agire professionale, in conformità al Profilo Professionale, al Codice Deontologico e a quanto attiene alle Evidence Based Practise del Tecnico Audioprotesista.
- abilità comunicative: lo studente dovrà, al termine dell'Insegnamento, essere in grado di attuare le abilità comunicative necessarie per instaurare un'efficace relazione teraputica con agli utenti nelle diverse fasce di età e nelle diverse patologie uditive, per ottimizzare la procedura sia diagnostica sia riabilitativa. Deve quindi ed inoltre aver appreso le necessarie abilità di counselling professionale per ottimizzare la risposta del paziente, interfacciandosi con altre figure professionali e la famiglia, quando necessario.
-capacità di apprendimento: lo studente deve dimostrare capacità ed autonomia nel riconoscere le patologie uditive e l0ambito degli impianti cocleari.
At the end of the course, students must demonstrate that they have achieved the educational objectives set for the course, which are essential for an adequate and individualized professional management of the hearing impaired patient.
In particular regarding:
- knowledge and understanding and ability to apply knowledge and understanding: the student must acquire the ability to recognize pathologies of the auditory system and especially in the context of cochlear implants.
- independent judgement: the student must achieve knowledge and skills in carrying out diagnostic and rehabilitative tests while respecting the dignity, culture, values and rights of individuals. It must also use critical thinking skills to deliver effective interventions to users in different age groups and in different pathologies. He must assume responsibility for his professional conduct, in compliance with the Professional Profile, the Code of Conduct and with regard to the Evidence Based Practices of the Hearing Care Technician.
- communication skills: at the end of the teaching, the student must be able to implement the communication skills necessary to establish an effective therapeutic relationship with users in different age groups and in different hearing pathologies, to optimize both the diagnostic procedure is rehabilitative. He must therefore and also have learned the necessary professional counseling skills to optimize the patient's response, interfacing with other professionals and the family, when necessary.
- learning ability: the student must demonstrate ability and autonomy in recognizing hearing pathologies and the scope of cochlear implants.

Modalità di insegnamento
Le Lezioni frontali sono supportate da presentazioni ppt e discussione di casi clinici. Le esercitazioni, che si alternano alle lezioni frontali, prevedono la partecipazione attiva degli studenti. E' necessaria la frequenza almeno del 70% delle ore di insegnamento di ciascun modulo.
The lectures are supported by ppt presentations, trace analysis, presentation and discussion of clinical cases. The exercises, which alternate with lectures, provide for the active participation of students. Attendance of at least 75% of the teaching hours is required of each modules

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Esame scritto ed orale. Il voto finale, espresso in trentesimi, sarà costituito dalla media ponderata delle singole valutazioni dei Docenti, a condizione che tutte le valutazioni siano uguali o superiori a 18/30.
L'esame , oltre a verificare la conoscenza e la comprensione degli argomenti trattati, si pone l'obiettivo di verificare le competenze relative sia agli obiettivi sia ai risultati dell'apprendimento attesi.Controllare ulteriori indicazioni dei docenti nelle schede dei singoli moduli.
Written and oral test. The final grade, out of thirty , will consist of the weighted average of the individual assessments of the teachers, provided that all assessments are equal to or greater than 18/30.
The exam, in addition to verifying the knowledge and understanding of the topics covered, aims to verify the skills related to both the objectives and the expected learning outcomes.
